Jacqueline T. Lezine-Hanna, M.D., M.S.P.H.
Jacqueline T.
Lezine-Hanna, M.D., M.S.P.H. is a Board Certified
Orthopedic Surgeon with Added Qualifications and
Fellowship trained in Hand and Upper Extremity
Surgery. Dr. Lezine-Hanna completed her
undergraduate training at UCLA in Biochemistry and
Master’s of Science Degree in Public Health at UCLA.
She then earned her medical doctorate at UCLA.
After completing an Orthopedic Resdiency at Martin
Luther King Jr. Hospital in Los Angeles, she
completed a Hand Fellowship at the Univeristy of
Southern California. She is an active member
in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and
the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Since
completing her training in 2001, she has an active
private practice in Marina Del Rey, California and
Silicon Beach. She also treats complex Hand
injuries at the Hand Center in Downey, California.
Dr. Lezine-Hanna
continues to be an educator and is an active
Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at
The Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Drew
University where she teaches medical students
regularly. She is contributes to the Medical
Professional Community through the Association
of Medical Women Physicians, Association of Black
Women Physicians American Academy of Orthopedic
Surgeons, National Medical Association ,and the
American Society for Surgery of the Hand. She
is a native of Los Angeles enjoys cooking and
spending active time with her family to be relaxing.
